FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it really free to read the full Quran here?
Yes, completely free. Every Para and every Surah is open to read on myumer.com. You don’t need an account, and there are no charges of any kind.
What is the difference between a Para and a Surah?
A Surah is a chapter of the Quran — there are 114 of them, some long and some just a few lines. A Para (also called Juz) is one of 30 equal parts the Quran is split into, which makes it easy to finish the whole Quran in a month, one Para a day.
Can I read the Quran on my mobile phone?
Yes. Every page is designed to work smoothly on phones, tablets and computers. On your phone, simply swipe to move to the next page, just like turning the pages of a book.
Do I need an internet connection to use your apps?
Yes, our apps load their content online, so you will need an internet connection. The upside is that they stay light on your phone’s storage and always show the latest content.
